We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Ophthalmic Assistant who knows their way around a clinic, thrives in a busy environment, and can keep things running smoothly without missing a beat.
What You’ll Be Doing (Your Daily Vision Quest)
- Perform technical workups including patient histories and testing (you know the drill)
- Assist providers during exams and procedures with confidence and efficiency
- Keep patient records accurate, organized, and locked down (HIPAA always!)
- Multitask like a seasoned pro to keep clinic flow moving
- Communicate clearly with patients—answering questions, easing concerns, and keeping things positive
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician (no guesswork here)
- Solid knowledge of ophthalmic equipment and procedures
- IJCAHPO certification ? Awesome. (Not required, but definitely a bonus!)
- Strong organization and time management skills (you don’t miss details)
- A team-player attitude with great communication skills
