Ultrasound Tech

Public - Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with facility protocols.
• Conduct examinations including Abdominal, OB/GYN, Vascular, Small Parts, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) procedures.
• Greet, identify, and prepare patients for examinations while maintaining dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Position patients comfortably, adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality, and document findings.
• Accurately document patient measurements and upload images and reports into PACS and RIS systems.
• Promptly communicate urgent or critical findings to the interpreting physician.
• Perform daily operational checks, quality assurance, and infection control cleanliness on equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and staff to maintain optimal workflow and throughput.

Public - Required Skills

• Education : Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Certifications :
• Active ARDMS Certification required (RDMS, RVT, or relevant specialty credential).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Clinical Capabilities : Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Abdominal, Vascular, and Transvaginal/Pelvic scanning protocols.
• Gender Requirement : Female candidate required due to the specific nature and volume of transvaginal procedures and patient preference.
