Human Resources Coordinator

Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and FMLA administration. The HR Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR policies and practices align with organizational goals and applicable employment laws. Key Responsibilities Administer employee onboarding processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems (HRIS). Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures. Coordinate benefits enrollment and serve as a liaison with benefits providers. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Support payroll by maintaining employee data and processing personnel changes. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed. Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives. Qualifications Required 2–5 years of human resources experience. Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. Proficiency with HRIS systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Preferred Professional HR certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent). Experience with payroll and benefits administration. Experience with Ceridan/Dayforce.
