In this role, you will provide services to the world's largest telecommunications and cable providers. An Assistant Tech inspects product functions and monitors test procedures and equipment.

2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 11:30PM, Monday - Friday Location: Coatesville, PA Currently hiring multiple positions - Apply now to be immediately considered!

Responsibilities Assistant Tech:

• Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
• Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.
• Comply with quality performance standards.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience Skilled in the operation of test equipment. Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons. Ability to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine). Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques. Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units. Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience Previous technical experience, particularly with mobile devices/small electronics repair. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with schematics. Handles basic issues and problems and escalates more complex issues to higher-level staff. Time-management skills. Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse/distribution center environment The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary. The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
