Senior Human Resources Business Partner

$100k - $125k

ML6

The Opportunity:

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across multiple U.S. locations, partnering closely with the business to build high-performing teams, foster an exceptional employee experience, and drive sustainable organizational success.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for an HR leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys blending strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You'll have the opportunity to shape people strategy, influence leadership decisions, and help create a workplace where employees feel supported, respected, and empowered to do their best work.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Act as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to leaders, providing practical, solutions-oriented guidance across the full spectrum of HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Translate business priorities into people strategies, ensuring HR programs and initiatives directly support operational goals and long-term growth.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and leaders, offering coaching and counsel on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and employee experience matters.
  • Partner with the broader HR team to execute enterprise-wide programs related to talent management, learning and development, succession planning, performance management, and engagement.
  • Identify talent risks and opportunities, support internal mobility, and help build robust succession pipelines across multiple sites.
  • Lead and co-lead complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution, in close partnership with Corporate HR and legal resources.
  • Guide leaders in building strong people management capabilities and reinforcing accountability for respectful, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
  • Support recruiting and selection efforts for plant and hourly employees, partnering with hiring managers to ensure effective hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards partners on leave administration, claims tracking, and return-to-work planning.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. employment legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, AODA, and other relevant standards).
  • Contribute to the design, enhancement, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
  • Facilitate HR-related training and leader education based on business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Provide project and change management support for organizational initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic HR metrics and reports.
  • Travel regularly between assigned U.S. locations and occasionally to Canada.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HRBP supporting multi-site or manufacturing/industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, employment law, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, fairness, and discretion.
  • Experience leading or supporting workplace investigations and complex employee relations cases.
  • Comfort operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • HRCI/SHRM designation preferred.
  • Willingness to travel between sites across the U.S. (and occasionally to Canada) as required.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $125,000.
