Warehouse Handler

:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe handling, storage, and internal movement of fine art and high-value goods within a warehouse. This role supports the logistics and preservation of artwork, antiques, and luxury items while following strict internal standards and environmental protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming items for condition and accuracy
• Scan, tag, and catalog inventory using handheld devices and WMS systems
• Perform proper art handling, including wrapping, crating, and placement in storage
• Relocate items within the facility and update location logs accordingly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, racks, and staging areas
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety protocols
• Complete condition reports, labeling, and packing documentation
• Operate pallet jacks, ladders, carts, and other non-motorized warehouse tools
• Communicate with logistics coordinators regarding storage status and internal moves

• Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in place
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• To always act in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• This position requires work 100% indoors
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands for packing and handling
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required for specific tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in art or luxury goods logistics]
• Familiarity with warehouse or inventory software (e.g., WMS, handheld scanners)
• Strong attention to detail and inventory practices
• Forklift certification preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
