Duties

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on infant development milestones, including sensory exploration, motor skills, and early communication.
• Provide attentive child supervision to ensure safety at all times, maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Engage with children through interactive activities that promote curiosity, learning, and emotional security.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships.
• Support classroom management by maintaining routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and playtime while encouraging independence.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices in infant care and early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare center setting and Early Childhood Education units are highly preferred. The school can assist in the completion of ECE units.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (pediatric first aid), and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork.
• Passion for early childhood education with a focus on infant care, toddler care, and developmental instruction.
