Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with surgical patients Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This includes participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. The responsibilities will involve observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. We cannot guarantee block scheduling but will try to accommodate when possible. This unit primarily cares for surgical patients and some medical patients. Surgical patients may include those undergoing joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries.
