Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an engaging opportunity supporting K-12 students as a behavioral specialist across diverse school environments. This full-time, onsite contract role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact, traveling as a floater to deliver essential behavioral support services throughout the academic year.
Successful candidates will bring a passion for guiding students and a strong background in providing behavioral interventions. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and teams, help implement behavior support strategies, and foster a positive learning environment for students with varying needs.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) status or completion of RBT initial training course
- Experience as a paraprofessional or in related behavioral support roles
- Multiple years working with students who have intensive behavioral needs, preferably within classroom settings
- Knowledge of positive behavioral interventions and evidence-based strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively, adapt quickly, and build rapport in changing school environments
- Valid CDE license (required at time of interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students across K-12 grade levels
- Implement individualized behavior plans under supervision of BCBA/school specialists
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and foster behavioral improvement strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school protocols
- Travel between various school sites as needed for floater assignments
- Offer empathetic, student-centered support in dynamic, fast-paced settings
