Join us for a fun-filled summer as a Host/Hostess at BOTTAIA Pool Bar & Caf!
At BOTTAIA Winery, we bring wine country charm and resort-style relaxation together. Our semi-Olympic pool, private cabins, splash pad, and lively Pool Bar & Caf create an exclusive oasis where guests sip, swim, and soak up the sun all summer long. As the first point of contact, you'll welcome guests warmly and set the stage for a seamless experience.
Job Summary:
As a Seasonal Host/Hostess, you'll greet guests, manage seating, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. This role is 100% outdoors in the heatperfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced, sun-soaked setting.
Schedule:
Seasonal (MayOctober), weekends and holidays required. Wednesday-Sunday.
Compensation: $16.90 hourly + TIPS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use TOCK Reservation and TOAST POS systems.
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Manage seating and wait times efficiently.
- Sell cabins, day passes, merchandise, and assist guests with needs.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide accurate wait times.
- Work with the team to ensure smooth service.
- Keep poolside and caf areas clean and organized.
- Assist with guest requests and maintain a fun atmosphere.
- Ensure guest safety and uphold all service standards.
- Thank guests and invite them to return.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working 100% outdoors.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work the entirety of the season (May-October).
- Must have or obtain a Riverside County Food Handler's Card.

- Ensure guest and associate safety at all times.
- Execute pool emergency procedures and provide calm, reassuring assistance in emergencies.
- Adhere to environmental standards set by BOTTAIA.
