Occupational Therapist - U-Fitness

Uintah Basin Medical Center (UBMC) is hiring a full-time salaried Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating patients in outpatient and inpatient settings and skilled in treating various ages and diagnoses.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform Occupational Therapy Assessments and implement an appropriate plan of care
• Employ treatment interventions that are consistent with evidence-based practice guidelines
• Coordinate treatment interventions with other therapeutic professionals
• Work closely and develop a rapport with the UBH medical staff
• Maintain a high level of productivity
• Document and bill according to recognized and accepted practice guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Occupational Therapy degree and state of Utah licensure
• Current BCLS and CPR certifications
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills required
• In addition, the qualified candidate must be able to work well in a team environment
