Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:

- Greet customers as they enter the shop.

- Assist customers in selecting desserts and beverages.

- Take orders accurately and efficiently.

- Answer customer inquiries about ingredients, allergens, and menu items.

- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.

2. Food Preparation:

- Prepare desserts according to standard recipes and quality standards.

- Ensure all desserts are fresh and presented attractively.

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of any shortages.

- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

- Keep workstations clean and organized.

3. Cashier Duties:

- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.

- Process credit/debit card payments and handle electronic transactions.

- Calculate and issue accurate change to customers.

- Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to management.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance:

- Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly.

- Sweep and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness.

- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

- Wipe down tables, chairs, and countertops throughout the day.

- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring the shop is ready for business.

5. Team Collaboration:

- Communicate effectively with other team members and management.

- Assist colleagues during busy periods or when extra help is needed.

- Work together to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

- Offer feedback and suggestions for improving operations and customer service.

6. Upselling and Promotion:

- Recommend additional items or upgrades to customers based on their preferences.

- Inform customers about special promotions, discounts, or new menu items.

- Encourage customers to sign up for loyalty programs or follow the shop on social media.

- Participate in promotional events or tastings to attract new customers.
