Production Team Member

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a motivated production professional to join our fast‑paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the full production lifecycle, including raw material preparation, precision assembly, and high‑quality shipping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a busy warehouse environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Candidates must be comfortable with the following physical and environmental requirements: Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended shifts and perform repetitive tasks with precision. Environmental Adaptability: Willingness to work in a warehouse setting, including areas with elevated temperatures. Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and Saturdays as production needs require. Autonomy: Ability to perform duties effectively with minimal supervision. Core Responsibilities Material Handling: Receive, move, store, and route raw materials to assembly areas, ensuring optimal organization to minimize waste. Production Operations: Safely feed raw materials into machinery and collaborate with team members to assemble goods accurately on the production line. Process Optimization: Monitor production equipment and processes, adjusting as necessary to correct errors or defects. Quality Assurance: Execute routine testing and quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards. Product Finishing: Prepare finished goods for secondary processing, such as painting, packaging, or shipping. Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, hazard‑free workspace and perform routine equipment cleaning to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

Horseplay and loitering on the production floor are strictly prohibited as they distract from essential safety awareness and increase the risk of injury. Mentorship: Support less experienced team members by modeling safe behaviors and actively training them on proper task procedures. CORE COMPETENCIES

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with management and team members. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is highly preferred. Technical & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands‑on ability to operate tools and machinery. Must possess a clear understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to troubleshoot equipment functions. Quality & Visual Acuity: Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify defects in product dimensions, color, and finish standards. Numeracy: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations necessary to track production quantities, interpret product dimensions, and monitor operating efficiency. Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively to meet production deadlines and achieve operational goals. Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment and foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization. Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to remain effective and maintain performance standards while navigating changing priorities and challenging production circumstance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical requirements described here are representative of those an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility & Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for up to 12 hours per day. Must be capable of reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Lifting & Handling: Regularly required to lift, position, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision: Must possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to inspect product quality. Work Environment: The role is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with minimal climate control and potential for high noise levels. Safety Compliance: Must be able to wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Previous experience operating production machinery is preferred.
