Injection Molding Process Technician

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Injection Molding Process Technician to join our growing plastic manufacturing team. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow in the injection molding industry.

Previous injection molding experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who are eager to develop their technical skills and build a long-term career in manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and monitor injection molding machines.
• Assist with mold changes, machine setups, and process adjustments.
• Learn to establish and optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent part quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and common molding defects.
• Monitor production efficiency, cycle times, and scrap rates.
• Work with production and quality teams to maintain product specifications.
• Help reduce downtime, improve processes, and minimize material waste.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and follow work instructions.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Injection molding experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn injection molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing quality parts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Equipment

Our operation utilizes Niigata and LS Mtron injection molding machines . Training will be provided to help the right candidate develop the skills needed to succeed.
