Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-focused care. This position requires a nurse willing to work collaboratively with the care team to manage a variety of ICU acuity patients, including vented patients, patients with BIS scoring, TTM, and IABP (rarely).

Responsibilities:

• Titrate drips, including vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and insulin
• Participate in 6-week scheduling, including every third weekend and holiday rotation
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed
• Adhere to the hospital's fingernail policy and scrub color code (Navy Blue)
• Complete unit-specific orientation

Requirements:

• Current RN license and driver's license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Pass a skills exam during orientation
• Comply with radius rule requiring candidates to live outside a 50-mile radius
