Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Full-time, 5 days a week, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM with weekend, call, and late requirements.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current and active RN license in Ohio
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• At least 3 years of RN experience in the Operating Room
• Travel experience required
• Completion of ~70 Net Learning modules and passing an ECG/Medication exam with a score of 80% or higher within one week of acceptance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients in accordance with established standards.
• Develop and implement a collaborative plan of care based on assessment data, with clear communication to all involved disciplines.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan, making modifications as necessary based on patient reassessment.
• Complete all required documentation according to established standards, utilizing appropriate tools.
• Implement individualized education plans based on the readiness of patients and significant others to learn.
• Lead department initiatives, providing in-service opportunities and serving as a point of contact for committee activities.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes if called in for an emergency shift.
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to one 12-hour shift per two-week pay period.
