Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are valued clinical professionals, essential to a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures according to department guidelines. Key Responsibilities Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Perform exams, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures. Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety. Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or correct as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS. Maintain equipment hygiene, report issues promptly, and support infection control protocols. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment as required. Organize daily workflows, support operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications including ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
