Must-Have:

• Central line care/management skills
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience in PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown units
• Floating to Med-Surg required

Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in a progressive care setting. Candidates must possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Float to Med-Surg is a requirement. Candidates must be able to manage central lines and interpret dysrhythmias. Experience with cardiac drips titration is necessary. Patient care involves adults and geriatric populations. The daily census is approximately eight patients. The unit may provide support from IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Patient diagnoses may include myocardial infarction, post-cardiac arrest, sepsis, congestive heart failure exacerbation, hypertensive emergency, and diabetes ketoacidosis. Two supervisor references are required. All candidates must work two out of three major holidays. Floating within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals is expected. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
