Must be agreeable to floating to various areas. Providing quality health care to the community for 60 years. Employs over 1,000 employees and numerous physicians. Fully accredited by the Joint Commission. Governed by a local board of trustees. The facility operates as one of the largest non-government employers in the area. The healthcare facility has a Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff on assignment must pass specific state checks. Unit profile includes an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The number of beds is 12 with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. Equipment available includes lifts, sliding boards, and various PT/OT equipment. The unit uses electronic health records for documentation. Supervision is provided by the Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation. The patient population ranges from 21 years of age to 90 years of age. Common diagnoses include orthopedic issues, strokes, neurological conditions, and cardiac care. Preferred candidates will have experience in rehabilitation and medical-surgical settings. Personality traits sought include positivity, empathy, and support for coworkers. Dress code allows for scrubs or scrub bottoms with acceptable tops. Unacceptable attire includes casual wear and clothing branded from other facilities.
