Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey (IR RN / Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience; experience in Interventional Radiology, PACU, OR, perioperative or other surgical specialties preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, procedural monitoring, and patient safety skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced procedural settings
• Familiarity with sterile technique, patient prep/recovery, and monitoring during fluoroscopy/angiography is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology department and procedural areas
• Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure patient assessments and document findings
• Monitor patients intra-procedure for safety, sedation tolerance, and hemodynamic stability
• Assist physicians, radiologic technologists, and surgical teams with procedures, vascular access, and sterile technique
• Manage recovery and PACU-level care for pediatric and adult patients following procedures
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-care instructions; maintain accurate patient records
