Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Location

Birmingham, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the duration of a 13-week travel assignment
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring systems during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately within the electronic medical record system
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and assist with deliveries as directed by the clinical team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated experience with Cerner and Fetalink — must be reflected on resume
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team workflows
