Nurse Manager - Observation UnitAlbany, GALocation:Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital### Nurse Manager - Observation Unit**Location:** Albany, GA**Job ID:** 34497## Job SummaryDirect and supervise functions and activities in unit; interpret and implement policies, procedures, standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff, public. Perform duties in any nursing capacity as needed.## Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)## Work Experience* 3 or more years experience in an Acute Healthcare Setting in area of specialty with proven management skills (Required)## Licenses and Certifications* Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license (Required)* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Required)## Essential Functions* Direct the coordination of care across setting and among caregivers.* Engage in teamwork as a team player and a team builder.* Serve in key roles at work through shared decision making.* Define a clear vision including goals and plans and measures progress.* Promote nursing through participation in professional organizations.* Use the results of quality improvement activities in nursing practice.* Use creativity and innovation in nursing practice to improve care delivery.* Incorporate evidence-based knowledge to initiate change in nursing practice.* Participate in quality improvement activities.* Document and submit required information and data in a timely fashion.* Clearly and accurately document designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc.* Ensure that documentation is tailored to expected readers / users.* Use correct terminology.* Conforms to required style and format.
