Job Overview Options For Youth (OFY) is a network of free public charter schools offering students a flexible, personalized approach to learning. Responsibilities Deliver the educational program and ensure data‑driven, results‑based instruction for students in implementation of Common Core Standards. Provide direct instruction to students up to six hours a day. Teach mastery of the Common Core Standards and design lesson plans in single‑subject content areas with differentiated curriculum. Use assessments and data to guide instruction, and maintain grade, attendance and retention records. Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners. Participate in community, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, teacher training workshops and assist with state‑mandated student testing. Meet with students and parents to discuss progress and challenges. Qualifications BA/BS degree. California Preliminary or Clear single‑subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA). Ability to teach single‑subject content and develop differentiated lesson plans. Knowledge and ability to use data to inform instruction. Experience or willingness to provide special education and English language learner interventions. Salary $73,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience). Intern range: $73,000 – $85,000.
