Windermere Pediatrics is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with children and families while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced pediatric office.

Position Type:

• Part-Time or Full-Time Available
• Competitive Pay Based on Experience
• Saturday Availability Required (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on scheduled weekends; not necessarily every Saturday)

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Make appointment reminder calls and follow-up callbacks
• Check patients in and out
• Verify and update patient information
• Assist parents with questions regarding appointments and office procedures
• Handle incoming messages and route them appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Support providers and staff to ensure efficient daily operations
• Maintain a welcoming and positive environment for patients and families

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Proficient with computers and basic office software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training Provided

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred but not required. Training will be provided on our office's EHR system for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using computers, willing to learn new software, and able to adapt in a fast-paced medical environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important than prior experience with our specific system.

• Medical office experience preferred, but not required
• Customer service, call center, receptionist, or administrative experience welcomed
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
