Carilion Clinic is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon to join an established group of three pediatric surgeons in Roanoke, Virginia. This opportunity is with Carilion Children's Hospital, a tertiary referral center serving a population of 1 million people in southwest Virginia. The role offers the chance for academic appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM) and support for research interests.Practice InfoJoin an established group of three pediatric surgeons.Carilion Children's Hospital serves as the tertiary referral center for a population of 1 million people in southwest Virginia.Provides a full range of pediatric services including the only designated Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center west of Richmond.Located within Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 763-bed teaching/tertiary care center.Comprised of an 8-bed PICU with flex into other critical care areas, a 27-bed inpatient unit, a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit, and a 27-bed Pediatric Emergency Department.Ground and air transportation services in the region are provided by the Carilion Clinic pediatric critical care transport team.CompensationMin Starting Salary: $595,369.Max Starting Salary: $637,256.Incentive Pay: Yes.Relocation Paid: Yes up to $15,000.You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary.BenefitsVacation: Yes.CME: Yes.Comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.RequirementsFellowship training in Pediatric Surgery.ABMS/AOA-BE/BC in Pediatric Surgery required.
