Python Backend Developer

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support cloud-native service development, the contract Python Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain REST APIs and microservices while working remotely for a duration of 12+ months. Key responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend services and REST APIs in Python Deploy and operate microservices on AWS, GCP, or Azure using containerized workloads Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum delivery model, including sprint planning and code reviews Required qualifications Professional experience developing production backend systems in Python Hands-on experience designing and operating microservice architectures and REST APIs Demonstrated experience deploying and managing workloads on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong grounding in CI/CD practices and automated testing across unit and integration layers Experience delivering software within Agile/Scrum teams
