What this job involves-The Business Analyst will work closely with Technology Lead, Finance Manager, and client to deliver and analyze a wide range of financial reports to support business planning and strategic decision-making. This role will be heavily focused around reporting creation and management.Planning and organizing – establish course of action to accomplish goals and evaluates results, develops schedules and task/people assignments, can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals, uses resources effectively and efficientlyUpdate and maintain client reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annually cadenceData Management - Ability to process large amounts of data in an organized manner. Technical Learning - Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars. Highly proficient (Advanced Skills) with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPointExperience with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL are a plus.Demonstrated information management, analytics, and data profiling skillsAbility to work with various levels of peers including analysts, developers and executives regarding complex business and data related issues.Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects. Manage task timelines and deliverable schedules, recognize, and share risks and roadblocks.Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes.Willingness to support process improvement initiativesProvide finance team support as neededRequirements: Successful candidates will possess a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 2-3 years of experienceAbility to work with a variety of stakeholders, including internal finance team and client business leadershipStrong communication, presentation, and analytical skillsMust be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environmentStrong attention to detail with the ability to understand big pictureFlexible and adaptable to tasks assignedA high degree of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office applications. PeopleSoft and Oracle knowledge is plus.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
