This role offers the chance to combine hands-on controls troubleshooting with broader responsibility for improving automation, equipment reliability, and engineering standards across manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Opportunity highlights:

• Base salary: $73,000–$80,000, depending on experience
• Schedule: 1st shift
• Travel: 50%–70% to support multiple locations

What you would be doing:

• Develop and improve control strategies for PLC-driven production equipment and automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair control systems to improve machine performance and line efficiency.
• Support the design and development of controls for new equipment and systems.
• Establish consistent programming practices, coding standards, and controls procedures across locations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to plant controls engineers and maintenance leaders.
• Partner with engineering and operations leadership to evaluate and implement new automation solutions.

The ideal background includes:

• Advanced PLC programming, motion controls, and troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical engineering or industrial controls experience.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation, and RSView.
• Experience with continuous-flow conveyor systems or automated manufacturing equipment.
• An associate degree or 2–4 years of equivalent related experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to meet the travel requirement.
