About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Medical Affairs to play a pivotal role in the translation of breakthrough science and clinical data into real-world impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading integrated medical affairs strategies across the clinical portfolio, with a focus on areas of significant unmet need. This includes oncology, rare diseases, immunology, and other priority therapeutic areas. The role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in medical affairs, capable of operating from early development through launch readiness, and bringing the external medical voice into portfolio decisions. Key responsibilities include building and leading the medical affairs strategy, providing support on cross-functional asset teams, and establishing scalable capabilities for scientific engagement, evidence generation, and medical communications. Applicants for the Vice President, Medical Affairs position at the company should hold an advanced clinical or scientific degree, with an MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in medical affairs, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading integrated evidence planning, engaging with key opinion leaders and external experts, and developing scientific platforms and publication plans. Strong knowledge of drug development and relevant compliance expectations is essential. The role also involves leading the scientific engagement strategy, congress planning, and partnering with data science and platform teams to explore the use of AI in medical insights and evidence synthesis. The candidate should be adept at building and leading a medical affairs organization and be prepared to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
