Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate supports aerospace and automotive manufacturing operations by managing inventory, material handling, data entry, and quality inspections in a warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, tracking, and issuance of parts using inventory systems such as SAP and warehouse equipment, including forklifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and track inventory accurately.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory records and data entry in SAP or similar systems.
• Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections on incoming and stored materials.
• Support warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and material flow.
• Follow safety procedures and standard operating practices.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control within aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, material handling, and inventory management.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong data entry, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
