Private Wealth Services Associate

Full-Time
$249,000 – $325,000 annually
A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Associate to join its Private Wealth Services Practice in San Diego. This role offers the opportunity to advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, and trust administration matters within a collaborative and nationally recognized practice.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and implement advanced estate planning structures, including Revocable Trusts, ILITs, SLATs, IDGTs, and GRATs
- Advise on transfers involving QSBS stock, business interests, and real estate assets
- Manage complex trust and estate administrations, including trust modifications, decantings, mergers, and terminations
- Conduct legal research involving multijurisdictional and cross-border estate planning issues
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys while independently managing sophisticated matters
- 4–8 years of trusts and estates or private wealth planning experience
- Strong drafting, research, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience handling sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth clients
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus
