We're not just a place to grab a drink; we're a beloved Keys landmark, famous for our stunning ocean views, laid-back tropical atmosphere, and creating unforgettable moments for guests from around the globe. Your Mission: Crafting Cocktails & Good Times! As a Bartender at The Hungry Tarpon, you're the life of the party and the curator of refreshing experiences! You'll be slinging our signature drinks (like the legendary Loaded Trailer Trash Bloody Mary!), whipping up classic favorites, and inventing new concoctions that keep our guests smiling. You'll bring your mixology skills, your friendly personality, and your ability to shine even when the bar is buzzing.

What You'll Be Doing:

Mixology Master: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our recipes and guest preferences.

Customer Charmer: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience at the bar.

Bar Boss: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including prepping garnishes, mixers, and other essentials.

Cash Flow Pro: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.

Team Player: Collaborate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Compliance Captain: Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.

Atmosphere Architect: Contribute to the vibrant, fun, and relaxed atmosphere that makes The Hungry Tarpon unique.

What We're Looking For:

Experience Expert: Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or casual dining setting.

Beverage Brain: Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktail recipes.

People Person: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you love connecting with guests.

Multi-tasking Maestro: You can handle multiple orders and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Detail Detective: Strong attention to detail ensures perfect drinks and a well-maintained bar.

Team Player: You enjoy working collaboratively and supporting your colleagues.

Positive Powerhouse: You bring a great attitude and enthusiasm to every shift.

Flexibility: Willingness to work day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays (that's when our bar really gets lively!).

Islamorada Local (or Future Local!): You must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Islamorada, FL, or within a 30-minute radius.
