Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days – 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Variable Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using MEDHOST EMR
• Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies throughout each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Orthopedic nursing experience
• Proficiency or ability to work within MEDHOST EMR system
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with MEDHOST or comparable hospital EMR platforms
