Enterprise Delivery Services (EDS) is a rapidly growing business that serves clients across the health care ecosystem. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify issues, establish objectives, develop recommendations, and implement solutions for our clientsProvide work stream/project oversight, manage and track issue resolution, and make key decisions for the project with the project sponsorLeverage AI-enabled tools to support and accelerate consulting delivery activities while improving efficiency and outcomesAdvise clients on practical applications of AI to enhance business processes, digital products, and operational performanceEffectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clientsDrive outcomes without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional environmentDefine, establish, and deploy Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks, standards, and best practices, leveraging advanced project management tools and artifacts (e.g., Charter/Scope, Integrated Project Plans, Issue logs, Requirements Matrices, Lessons Learned, and portfolio tracking)Monitor, manage, and document project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying emerging issues and driving appropriate actions to maintain project alignment and momentumDevelop, communicate, and execute comprehensive project risk and issue management plans, including mitigation and escalation strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful deliveryFacilitate status updates and review of programs to client leadership and/or project sponsorProvide clear communications (oral and written) and share knowledge at all levels of the organizationConduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending, and presenting data and recommendations to managementProvide coaching and mentoring of project team with the goal of developing talent within the organizationEnsure that the engagement performs consistent with expected client value and internal financial targetsLimited travel may be required for this role (less than 25% on average over a year's time but may involve Monday through Thursday travel for multiple concurrent weeks to satisfy specific client project requirements). Consultants who are not local to an Optum office facility work from a home office when not at the client site.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Project and/or Product Management role within a healthcare environment5+ years of Process Improvement experience3+ years of building/creating project deliverables with the ability to manage complex work-streams in a client facing role2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment2+ years of experience with a nationally recognized consulting firm or a healthcare payer or provider system1+ years of experience with CA Agile, Rally, JIRA, or similar applicationExperience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, or advanced analytics platforms) to enhance productivity and deliverablesProven ability to guide teams on effective and responsible use of AI tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivery best practicesBased in greater Minneapolis, MN OR ability to relocate at own expense to Minnesota OR ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications:Agile / Scrum certifiedFormal training and proven experience leading change management efforts, with proficiency in established methodologies (e.g., ProSci certification preferred)Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience in digital health or consumer digital products or servicesExperience in a large matrixed environmentProven ability to work in a highly technical, fast-paced environmentDemonstrated solid interpersonal skillsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
