Job Title: Rare Hematology Area Business Manager – Allergy/Immunology – Atlanta, GALocation: Remote USAbout The Job:The Rare Hematology Area Business Manager (ABM)- Allergy/Immunology will contribute to the continued growth of AYVAKIT, build the systemic mastocytosis (SM) market to help more patients, and focus on market development within other specialty areas.This is a specialty-dedicated sales role with primary responsibility for allergy/immunology customers within the assigned territory. This individual will be a product and disease-state expert responsible for building long-term relationships with allergy/immunology focused physicians and accounts, executing against territory and business priorities. customer segment within the assigned territory, with responsibility for AYVAKIT performance across prioritized specialists and accountsEffectively identify and engage allergists, immunologists, and broader care team members that are key decision makers for providing treatment and conduct customer meetings within assigned territory using approved resources and messagingIdentify and engage with customers aligned to emerging specialties (e.g., dermatologists, gastroenterologists) to increase awareness of systemic mastocytosis and AYVAKITBuild relationships and manage accounts by engaging a variety of healthcare stakeholders, including physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pharmacy, and practice leadership.Apply deep therapeutic, product, and healthcare market expertise to drive compliant customer engagement, business planning, and actionable field insightsDevelop and execute territory business plans to achieve performance objectivesLead market development within the territory by increasing disease awareness, supporting appropriate patient identification and referral, and addressing HCP educational gaps across SM patient journeysConduct formal and informal presentations and convey complex clinical information fluently to physicians in large academic centers and hospitals or large group practices/groups, in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective mannerBuild and maintain relationships with key accounts and customers coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders as needed to manage relationships of national and/or regional relevanceCross-functional Execution & Business ManagementPartner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to align HCP-level execution with account access and pull-through priorities and overall account strategyIdentify and escalate institutional barriers, and support coordinated engagement at priority hospitals, health systems, IDNs, and community practicesMaintain effective communication with the Regional Business Director, peer ABMs, and other internal stakeholders by sharing customer insights, market trends, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunitiesCollaborating closely with cross functional team members to address customer needs compliantly with a high sense of urgencyProactively identify new opportunities and apply customer insights to develop, execute, and refine territory approachesLeverage CRM, customer segmentation, sales analytics, and other approved analytical tools to understand business trends, prioritize activity, and meet target KPIsRepresent Sanofi at hematology/oncology congresses and local professional association meetingsAbout You:Basic Qualifications:B.A. / B.S. degree required3+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical salesMust reside within or in close proximity to the assigned territoryMust have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel on the job (up to 50% given the field-based role).Preferred Qualifications:Degree preferably in Health Sciences, Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field5+ years Allergy/Immunology and/or rare disease experience strongly preferredSales launch experience with complex specialty productsConsistent success in driving above-plan sales results within a specific region or territoryExperience successfully promoting multiple products and balancing distinct disease-state and customer priorities within one territory is preferredUnderstanding of disease-modifying therapies with a requisite diagnostic component and ability to navigate patient pull-through in complex
