In the role of Senior CAD/BIM Lead, we'll count on you to:Perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniquesPerform Redline corrections and develop design drawings from initial sketchesTake responsibility for drawing layoutWork independently with occasional advice from your supervisorDirect efforts of less-experienced CADD Technicians as neededPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreePreference given to candidates currently residing in the Mid-Atlantic (VA/MD/DC) Area*LI-MJ1Due to client contract requirements, naturalized US citizenship is required. This position is subject to a governmental background check.QualificationsRequired QualificationsAssociate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years working as a CAD TechnicianProficiency using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and InRoadsExperience using Microsoft Office in production workflowsAbility to be a lead technician and work closely with less experienced CADD StaffStrong attention to detail and organization skillsIntermediate or Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows, and deliverablesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
