Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$1591.20/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a telemetry unit to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves managing adult patients with various medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patient cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment. Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans. Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR. Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care. Respond to emergency situations promptly, providing critical interventions as needed. Qualifications: Valid and active RN license in the state. Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry or med/surg nursing experience. Ability to care for 4-6 patients simultaneously with a focus on safety. Strong clinical skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter management, and medication administration. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
