About the Position

• Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit, monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform necessary procedures per provider orders.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry readings.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months PERMANENT experience in MS/Tele applying for prior to travel.
• Must have 18 months recent MS/Tele experience.
• MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND
• AHA BLS & ACLS required.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required
