Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) Techno-Functional Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in subscription lifecycle processes, O2C workflows, and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role requires deep functional knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to lead client engagements, design scalable solutions, and support end-to-end subscription management implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Delivery
- Lead client workshops to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for subscription-based business models (recurring, usage-based, hybrid).
- Translate requirements into detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs), solution blueprints, and test cases.
- Configure Oracle Subscription Management Cloud, including:
- Product Catalogs & Service Definitions
- Pricing & Rating Models
- Billing Schedules, Proration, Discounts
- Usage capture & rating rules
- Manage the full subscription lifecycle:
- Creation, Amendments, Upgrades, Downgrades
- Renewals, Suspensions, Cancellations
- Support integration with:
- Order Management (OM)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS)
- Install Base
- External billing or CRM systems
Testing & Deployment
- Drive SIT/UAT cycles, manage defects, and validate end-to-end O2C flows.
- Provide postgo-live hypercare support and conduct user training sessions.
- Perform contract and subscription data migration/conversion to OSMC.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as an SME for Subscription Management, SaaS billing models, and revenue recognition frameworks (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
- Provide best practices in product structuring, pricing strategies, subscription renewals, and revenue compliance.

- Deep knowledge of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud features, configuration, and business processes.
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business flows.

- Ability to create FDDs, solution documents, and test scripts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- Hands-on experience with data migration of contracts/subscriptions to OSMC.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
