Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator loads and unloads product by operating a Forklift where needed in the Warehouse.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure loads are secure before loading and unloading (chock wheels)Loads and unloads trucks and products using an electric sit-down forkliftRemove defective product so that it may be properly disposed of when neededStacks cases of produce neatly and evenly on a pallet to ensure safe transportOperates equipment, such as forklift and pallet jacks safely as neededOrganize product in boxes according to lot and rotationPerforms responsibilities by policies and procedures of the companyPerforms other duties as assigned when there are no trucks to loadBenefits:Medical, Vision, Dental insurance and many more voluntary coverage optionsCompany paid Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, and Identity Theft insurance.FMLA, Traditional and Roth 401K, Matching and Profit Sharing (when eligible), FSA and HSA optionsPaid Vacation, Sick Leave and HolidaysSchedule:Monday-Saturday 6am-2pm Tuesday & Sunday OffMonday-Saturday 6am-2pm Thursday & Sunday OffMonday-Saturday 6am-2pm Friday & Sunday OffEducation Requirements: High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.Training, Skills, Licenses: 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, Forklift experience required. Electric Pallet Jack experience and/or Produce experience is preferred.Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.EOE/Vet/Disabled
