Join us as a Facilities Technician in our Cary, NC plant where you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing issues in the plant environment and help us achieve our safety goals. This is a Night Shift position, 6 pm-6 am working on a 2-2-3, 12-hour schedule with every other weekend off. The hourly rate is $ 35.08.A Taste of What You'll Be DoingUtilize Your Specialized Skills – Perform work involving millwork, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical crafts to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot buildings, systems, and equipment as assignedTrack Facility Needs – Responsible for identifying materials and equipment needed for work to be accomplished, and maintaining records of both materials and labor used on projectsLead the Charge – Evaluate work orders to determine scope and work procedures necessary to perform job. Lead in the installation, maintenance, and repair of designated building systems while guiding other technicians in projectsSafely Execute – Understanding, following, and enforcing all established safety, health, and quality procedures to drive forward productionProvide Top Notch Customer Service – Establishing rapport with business partners across the plant floor to solve problems with a strong sense of urgencyWe're Looking for Someone WithHigh School Diploma/GEDPrevious experience with facility maintenanceKnowledge of standard tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices in building maintenance craftsAbility to use basic shop math applicationsAbility to read, interpret, and work from rough sketches, blueprints, and drawingsAfter you apply, your application will be reviewed by a real recruiter, so it may take us a few weeks to get back with you by email or phone.
