Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Nurse - Stepdown Float

Schedule: Shift: 1900-0730

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
• Vasoactive drip titration experience
• Line management skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular device access/care, dialysis fistula care/management, a-line management
• Airway management skills: CPAP/BiPAP and trach care
• Ortho/MS/Onc skills: Epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, wound vac

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in stepdown settings.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the medical team to plan and modify patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

The facility can downstaff travelers 36/48 hours based on the weekly schedule.
