Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Role: Respiratory Therapist, responsible for administering respiratory therapies to patients of all ages, under supervision, ensuring safe and quality care. Key Duties: Initiate and manage ventilator care, chest physiotherapy, postural drainage, and pulmonary function tests; assess patient respiratory status; monitor therapy effectiveness; maintain accurate clinical records; participate in clinical education. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred; valid CRT or RRT certification; current Massachusetts licensure; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Skills & Certifications: Knowledge of ventilator management, airway care, and diagnostic testing; ability to evaluate patient responses; additional neonatal and pediatric experience preferred.
