As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Duluth, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and members of the public at a government property by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and reporting maintenance hazards or suspicious activity to designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
