Data Center Migration Specialist
Role: Data Center migration specialist
Location: Chicago, IL / Travel to customers data centers in Chicago
Description: who can plan & implement for stopping Nutanix, Juniper, Rubrik technologies on physical devices, helping vendors in movement of devices, helps in tracking devices in new environment and configure technologies to work in new environment.
Must Skills: Data Center System Architect, Data Center hardware migration experience, Juniper switches, Palo Alto Firewall, racking/unpacking hardware in Data Center, WAN links management, Good verbal, writer and proactive communication
Plus Skills: VMWare, Nutanix Metroavailiblity, Veem/Vmotion, Azure portal, EXPRESSROUTE Project scope tracking.
Degrees, certifications/training - CDMS/ VMWare / Juniper DC certified preferable
Industry expertise: Data Center hardware migration, equipment movement between 2 data centers / 6 -9 years of experience.
Required Skills and Experience: Hardware migration planning, project monitoring, milestone meetings, racking/unpacking, Site Operability testing, customer-vendor coordination
Other soft skills/aptitude - good English verbal & written communication, Assertive
