This 190-bed teaching hospital holds Joint Commission Accreditation and delivers a broad range of services, including 24/7 Emergency Care (Trauma Level III), Cardiovascular Services, Cancer Care, Orthopedic Care, Women's and Children's Health, and Primary Care Services. The outpatient clinic operates as a dedicated family medicine practice providing consistent, coordinated care to adult and geriatric patients. Support staff on-site includes MAs, RNs, and PSRs to facilitate daily clinical operations.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of year-round outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. Water recreation options include canoeing on Lake Auburn, and white-water rafting experiences are accessible in the region. Skiing is available at Lost Valley, located approximately 15 minutes from the assignment site, and hiking trails at Bradbury Mountain provide additional outdoor pursuits. Aerial tours with Chickadee Aviation offer a distinctive sightseeing option, and Old Orchard Beach and Acadia National Park are reachable for those seeking coastal and wilderness destinations during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide full-time, outpatient clinic-based primary care services to an adult and geriatric patient population on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with no weekends. The expected caseload is 18-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of general primary care conditions. The facility utilizes EPIC as its EMR system, with training provided during onboarding. No call coverage is required for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required.
