Senior Engineering Project ManagerLocation: Greenville, SC Type: Contract to Hire Work Model: Remote Hours: 5 – 8 hours daySystem One is seeking a high-caliber Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Project Management Department in Greenville, SC. The position will start off remotely then move into office once opens. This role offers a premier opportunity to lead complex, large-scale design projects for major clients in the power industry. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project execution, from early-phase design and vendor management through to start-up and commissioning.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic vision and direction for project staff, ensuring full accountability for budget, schedule, and quality of technical deliverables.Lead mid-to-large capital power projects, particularly combined cycle power plants, with a Total Installed Cost (TIC) of $100MM+.Manage and coordinate work with overseas High Value Engineering (HVE) offices and multidisciplinary teams globally.Monitor, report, and control project costs and productivity; manage Change Management (ECNs) to maintain project profitability and scope integrity.Serve as primary client liaison to ensure contractual requirements are met and to foster new business opportunities.Recruit, train, and coach project personnel to maintain staffing efficiency and technical excellence.Perform field walk-downs and data collection, requiring physical activity and travel to project sites.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.15–20 years of experience in power projects, with significant experience in combined cycle plants.Minimum of 8–10 years in a Project Manager role managing a portfolio of small to large-cap projects.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly organized and self-directed with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel and work in both office and field settings.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
