About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Older Adult Services and Economic Development to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaboratively articulating, implementing, and operationalizing the strategic vision, mission, and goals of the agency. This role involves overseeing the success of departmental programs, continually evaluating their effectiveness, and guiding strategic service delivery to enhance funding diversification and participant outcomes. The VP will also be involved in program strategy and leadership, team management and development, grants management, program operational management, and communication and public relations. Candidates for the VP position should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit, government, or philanthropy setting. The role requires a strong background in overseeing multiple programs or contracts, particularly in organizations serving diverse communities. Essential qualifications include the ability to support the mission and values of the organization, maintain and strengthen fiscal viability, attract and manage funding, and cultivate relationships with external partners. The VP will also be responsible for team management, including professional development, performance evaluations, and mentoring. Experience in grants management, program operational management, and a proven track record in communication and public relations are essential for this position.
