Financial Analyst

Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst position is a highly visible role responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the division’s business leaders. As the Senior Financial Analyst for the Engineering Cables division, you will work in a high‑growth, project‑based interconnect business within the rapidly evolving space and defense market, supporting multiple global production sites. You will contribute to the future of this division and the broader space industry while reporting to the Director of Finance and enhancing the team’s financial analytics capabilities through technology in data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (manufacturing business environment and public company experience highly desired) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required CMA, CPA, MBA preferred Strong knowledge of financial accounting / GAAP Excellent communication and leadership abilities, paired with a constructive curiosity to drive change Effective at building relationships and resolving issues independently Detail‑oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver timely, accurate results Experience with ERP data set extraction, clean‑up, and analysis preferred Track record of translating complex data into actionable insights Strong technical skills and curiosity regarding the use of technology: Expert with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets MS PowerPoint and/or Google Slides Planful and/or other EPM software (Hyperion, TM1, etc.) MS SQL knowledge is a plus MS Power BI knowledge is a plus Responsibilities Develop annual budgeting and monthly forecasting: P&L, CapEx, Working Capital Partner with cross‑functional leaders in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis Prepare internal management reports Conduct financial variance analysis (i.e., BVA) Support key strategic initiatives to drive future growth and profitability Conduct commercial finance analysis and support Monitor and analyze the project's execution performance Evaluate business problems and build quantitative models to support business decisions Drive efficiency and process improvement with the implementation of financial best practices Provide financial guidance on productivity improvement and cost management Conduct ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as needed Systems You’ll Use Google Enterprise BambooHR Paycom & ADP Pay Transparency Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 DOE per year.
