HOW DOES ON-CALL WORK?

You commit to specific days and hours of availability .

During your scheduled on-call period, you remain available to accept client assignments if needed.

For example:

8:00 PM – 8:00 AM On-Call 

ON CALL FLAT RATE (w/ signed job description):

$25-50

Hourly shift, Short hour, Back to Back

HMK, PC, PCA, HHA, CNA

$18-21

You may receive a call at any time during your scheduled on-call window for a client who needs coverage.

If you are assigned a shift, you will receive your regular hourly pay for the time worked, in addition to your on-call stipend.

This is an opportunity to earn additional income while providing an important service to clients who need dependable care.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

During your scheduled on-call period, you must be:

• Available and prepared to accept assignments

• Able to respond to the On-Call Supervisor within 15 minutes

• Prepared to leave for an assignment within 30 minutes of being contacted

• Willing to accept assignments during your scheduled on-call period

• Available to work in different client locations as needed

• Ready to provide professional, compassionate care

Assignments may take place in private homes and, when needed, assisted living or hospice settings.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an On-Call Caregiver, you will provide care based on the client's individual care plan and your HHA, CNA, or PCA qualifications.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care

• Bathing and grooming

• Dressing

• Toileting

• Mobility assistance

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Laundry

• Companionship

• Assistance with activities of daily living

• Following the client's care plan

• Reporting changes or safety concerns

• Completing required documentation

• Following infection-control and PPE procedures

Most importantly, you'll provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care to people in their own homes and care settings.
